Wailoa Center’s Contemporary Craft Invitational continues Friday with an artist talk from 1 to 4 p.m. in the center’s main gallery in Hilo.
Ceramic artist Clayton Amemiya, fiber artists Phan Barker and Emily DuBois, woodworker John Mydock and metal artists Liz Miller and Amy Flanders will talk about their work. Also on hand throughout the month during regular center hours, will be Le Notley demonstrating his trains and answering questions about its construction and history.
Both exhibits run through Sept. 24.
Wailoa Center is free and open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center is closed on Saturday, Sunday and state holidays.
